Movement with meaning
My yoga journey began with Ashtanga, where I fell in love with the discipline, structure, and challenge of a strong physical practice. I was drawn to the focus it demanded and the strength it built - both on and off the mat.
Pregnancy changed everything.
It asked me to slow down, to listen more closely, and to deepen my understanding of the mind-body connection. That chapter led me into freebirth, and to teaching pregnancy yoga and hypnobirthing - spaces where trust, intuition, and softness mattered just as much as strength.
While I no longer teach pregnancy yoga or hypnobirthing, they both helped shape the teacher I am today.
Over the years, I’ve woven together everything I’ve learned - from my 200-hour yoga teacher training in the Amazon jungle, to further training in Rocket (which reignited my sense of play and inspiration) and Mandala yoga. What emerged is a practice that balances both: the discipline of a strong, challenging practice with the softness and nourishment of a restorative flow.
Yoga, for me, is how I calm my mind, ground my nervous system, and remember that there is so much more to this practice than asana. It's a spiritual practice - one that helps us move through the messiness of being human with a little more understanding, kindness, and compassion for ourselves and others.
So you might come for the flexibility, or maybe the strength, but you’ll likely leave with something else entirely. Something you didn’t even know you needed.
